Cognition had the pleasure of bringing the Alienware Artifact to life — an immersive activation that took over Grand Central Station in New York City from October 27–31. Each day, the Artifact’s exterior came alive with a unique Alienware animation, building in intensity through the week with pulsing machine hums and electric energy that culminated in a spectacular finale.
Visitors were invited to step inside the Artifact and stabilize its energy to make a dimensional jump into another reality through an interactive game. Brand Ambassadors collected emails from guests eager to learn more about Alienware. The installation seamlessly integrated animation, lighting, sound, and real-time game engine technology, connecting directly with Twitch for live chat interaction and streaming.
Online, daily Twitch live streams featured creators Valkyrae, Symfuhny, Ludwig, and RealKatieB, as they worked together to stabilize the Artifact’s energy by solving puzzles and completing challenges. Each stream unlocked new dimensions, shaped reality before viewers’ eyes, and offered chances to win epic Alienware prizes — including one of four Area-51 Gaming Desktops.
